Alarm Volume

Why doesn’t the Alarm App allow you to customise the volume?

The alarm is too loud even if you go to bed with the ring volume at a minimum.

"How to change the alarm's volume

Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
Under Ringtone and Alert Volume, drag the slider left or right to set the volume. As you drag, an alert will play, so you can hear how the volume changes.
Turn on Change with Buttons to use the volume buttons on your device to change the alarm volume.

Learn what to do if the alarm volume is too low or quiet."

Latest update as yet it can’t be done.

As per Apple chat Support: “I’m anticipating that with the next update an issue so common as this will be addressed & fixed” 🤞

Hi WinC1, thanks for the response.

Have tried as you suggested & yes it does reduce the volume of the ‘Alarm’ as required. However this method covers the volume of everything & not exclusively to just the alarm. Importantly it also affects the ‘Ringer’ volume. Should you not remember to increase the volume every morning calls can be missed as the ‘Ringer’ volume is too low. Apple need to improve the ‘Alarm’ function by allowing you to also edit only the alarm volume.
