how to unlock my ipod when I forgot my passcode I have my daughter's ipod that she hasn't used in years and she can't remember her passcode. Is there any way to unlock it? I tried to get it into recovery mode by holding the middle button and the power button on the top left, but nothing happens. I tried that both with it connected to itunes and without being connected. You can probably restore the iPod via iTunes (MacOS 10.15 or earlier), or use the finder app on newer versions of macOS to do so.
