FaceID is no longer an option in my iPhone settings

In device settings, when I select the American Express app, FaceID is no longer an option. It was available last month, but suddenly disappeared. I have an iPhone 11. What happened?

Your Screen Shot tells me that you have Content & Privacy Restrictions set to ON in Screen Time. I would like you try something on your iPhone. Open Settings ➡️ Screen Time ➡️ Content & Privacy Restrictions: Set this switch to OFF. Once you have done so, then open the American Express app and see whether it allows to setup to use Face ID to enter the password. If it does, then set it up and then go back to Screen Time and set Content & Privacy Restrictions back to ON (like you had it).
