HI, I have an iPhone 13 with IOS 16.3.1, when I take a screenshot and share it on Whatsapp, or with a friend or in a group, by typing the "@" I can't tag or call a person, before the update I did it quietly . How can I solve this problem?

Indeed, same problem with any picture. I can @tag if it is not a picture but cannot @tag if it is a picture. This is on my iPhone 13ProMax now on iOS 18.11. If I shift to WhatsApp web (PC) then I CAN @tag photos so this must be an iOS problem? Here are my WhatsApp settings and I'm on WhatsApp v25.1.2.

Is that what whatsapp told you when you contacting them about a function not working on their platform?
Did u solved this? I have the same problem in iphone 14 pro max(ios17) and problem continues with my iphone 16 pro (ios18). It means the problem is within with my ios setting because i backup my old setting from ip14 to current ip16, the problem follows. If u solved this, please share. Thanks in advance.

YES, on my iphone 13 it worked perfectly, but after the update it doesn't work anymore, they told me it's an ios settings problem
