I am having issues with opening the documents folder. While I am able to access the folder and its contents in applications like Word etc, I am not able to open it in Finder, although I can drag contents into it and see them on the iCloud website.

I had already taken a look at those, and they did not help. This is only an issue on one of my Macs. The other 3 (2017 personal MacBook and work laptop/iMac) are able to view the folder. It is only on the M2 MacBook that the folder refuses to open in finder.
The folder says it synced now, but trying to view/interact with the folder in finder causes this error "The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8058)." Interestingly adding the folder to my dock allows me to get it to open in Finder.

I have noticed it has had the downloading "documents" visible, but I do not know if that is progress since it is also saying paused no internet connection, although everything is working.
