Logic Pro Showing Input Signal But Not Recording

Hello!

I'm trying to record vocals through a USB mic (Shure MV7) using Logic Pro. I've selected the right input/output and can see the input signal (the green bar moves up and down) but when I enable recording and click record, the line is flat. When I change my input/output to my mac mic/speakers, it records fine. Is there another setting I need to check to record using a USB mic?

I'm pretty new to this so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Logic will record voice but not acoustic instruments with microphone Recently switched to an M1 Max MBP 16". I've been recording/producing in Logic for a while and have run into a weird issue. I can record crystal clear audio of a voice speaking or singing via built in microphone or an interface but as soon as an acoustic instrument is recorded the sound cuts out and heavily distorts. Doesn't matter if it's a single note on a guitar string or a chord or how loud the instrument is played. I've run through all the Apple troubleshooting steps they provide online and am stumped.

Recording my KORG minilogue xd in Logic Pro Hey guys, So I'm still pretty new to Logic and am struggling to record from my new KORG minilogue. The track is for a software instrument, I've selected 'use external instrument plug-in', and selected the correct input. It's all connected, interface is all set up, and I can hear it through my laptop perfectly, but when I actually click record, it doesn't record anything. After watching a few videos, it looks like the issue could be that when I click on the instrument and select 'MIDI destination', the only option is 'Logic Pro Virtual Out', whereas the tutorials say there should be options with the minilogue title. What can I do to fix this?
