I am trying to transfer a big video file from a phone to network drive with a save to file option, while providing IP of the server. After transfer is at the finish line, it shows the message as in title. I saw the other thread with the same title, but the answer to the other thread is a set on instructions how to transfer a file. I am doing it, but a final stage of saving file for some reason not letting it save because of some attribute, and reverts the transfer. It is not a phone issue because transferred file to another phone and it does the same thing. Just checked with other files and it looks like any file cannot be saved with "Save to Files"

I finally found a solution to this that worked for me. On your iPhone,

  1. Select the photos you want to save.
  2. Click the Share button.
  3. When the Share dialogue pops up, click "Options".
  4. In Options, select "Most Compatible". The selection below will change to "Individual Photo" (this just means each photo selected goes to a separate file, not that it only saves "one individual photo").
  5. Finally, scroll down and click "Save to Files" like you normally would.
  6. Hope this helps you as well.
