how do I delete the my sports sports channel from the news+ bottom menu bar? I detest sports but seem stuck with this all of a sudden.

Apple News App: Problems suppressing sports stories... Ever since the latest iOS update, my news feeds are suddenly overstuffed w/sport stories. As someone who is not into sports at all, I want zero sports showing up in the feed. Spending countless clicks for the past two weeks 'show less' action on sport story after sport story. Seems like show me less does nothing, or maybe is cross-wired to show me more behind the scenes. Either way it was fine before the iOS update and now my new feed is like ESPN. How can this get fixed? Why are there also still no categories such as iOS (there is one for MacOS, but still none for iOS or iPadOS, home kit etc)?

How do I turn off Sports and Fox in News? How do I turn off Sports and Fox in News? I have turned off Fox News, but I still see big blocks where Fox News would be, but instead it's got a blank spot saying I've blocked news from this channel. I've also blocked NFL and Sports as topics. I have read that I can additionally dislike news that is shown. The problem is that new from Apple News Editors still shows. All of this March Madness is taking up tons of space. I don't want to see it. Addtionally, even though I've blocked both Fox and Sports, the March Madness is showing sports new from Fox Sports. A double whammy of nothing I want to see. Why can't we completely opt out? I see that News isn't even a topic that I can choose for this post.

GB News App not working on Apple TV When I try to open the App on Apple TV it tries to open but then immediately reverts to the main App Page. I have rebooted by Apple TV, restarted my Apple TV, removed the GB News App and reinstalled it on my Apple TV but I always get the same result, reverse to main Apps Page. For info, all other Apps on my Apple TV are working fine (Sky News, Now, 4, 5 etc)

You cannot delete the sports tab, you can leave Apple some feedback about this to request this change: Feedback - Apple News - Apple
