Issue with sound calls on iPhone

I am having the same issue (iPhone14). Any noise whatsoever, even breathing or moving my foot, makes the audio cut out on phone calls so the person on the other end just keeps cutting in and out. There can be no background noise, and I have to hold perfectly still and hold my breath to hear what the other person is saying.

Me too. This is one of the most frustrating things. It makes it impossible to have a FaceTime/Whatsapp Video call. Any time my headphones pick up noise it cuts the other person's audio for a few tenths of a second. I have to mute myself to hear what they are saying.

Apple, please fix this.

I’m happy I’m not the only one !!! It does this with me a lot it is very annoying!! I cannot have a full conversation I keep having to say “huh” and ask what the person says. I have to try to be as quiet as I can on my side so it won’t cut out. Even if I do I still cuts out by any tiny noise
