If you're not getting any sound while connecting your iPhone 13 to your TV using an Apple adapter with HDMI cables, here are a few troubleshooting steps to try:

1. Check the connections: Ensure that you've properly connected the Apple adapter to your iPhone and the HDMI cable to both the adapter and the TV. Make sure all connections are secure.

2. Select the correct input source on your TV: Use your TV remote or buttons to select the appropriate HDMI input source your iPhone is connected to.

3. Restart your iPhone: In some cases, simply rebooting your iPhone can solve the problem. To do this, press and hold the Side button and either Volume button until the slider appears on the screen. Then, slide to power off your iPhone. Wait for a few seconds, and then press and hold the Side button again to turn your iPhone back on.

4. Check the audio output settings on your iPhone: Go to Settings, then tap on "Sounds & Haptics" or "Sounds" (depending on your iOS version). Make sure the "Change with Buttons" option is enabled. Additionally, press the Volume up button on the side of your iPhone to ensure the volume is set at an audible level while connected to the TV.

5. Update your iPhone software: Ensure you have the latest iOS version. Go to Settings, then tap on "General," and select "Software Update". If there's an update available, follow the instructions to update your device.

6. Test different content: Try playing various audio or video files on your iPhone to if the issue is only present with specific content.

7. Verify your Apple adapter and HDMI cable: Inspect your adapter and HDMI cable for any damage. If possible, test them on another device to ensure they're functioning correctly.

8. Reset your iPhone settings: If all else fails, you can try resetting the settings on your iPhone. Go to Settings, then "General," and scroll down to "Reset." Select "Reset All Settings" and input your passcode when prompted. Note that this will not delete your data or media, but it will reset all system settings to their default values.

If the problem persists after following all these steps, it could a hardware issue. You may need to contact Apple Support for further assistance. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
