Is it possible to check authenticity of Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad?

I got my - Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad for Mac models with Apple silicon - US English - Apple (IN) - delivered today.

As with my other Apple products I tried to verify the warranty status and authenticity of my product on the check coverage website here - Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

I found the 17 digit serial number as per this support article - Find the serial number of your Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad – Apple Support (UK) - and tried to validate my keyboards serial number.

It keeps giving me an errors stating please enter a valid serial number. I have read through a bunch of apple community question and some reddit articles too but I could not get an answer.

Is it even possible to check for the warranty/authenticity of Magic Keyboard with Touch ID on the check coverage website?

Unfortunately, not all Apple devices can be "verified" via that Service and Support Coverage site. This may just be the case for this keyboard. However, if you purchased this keyboard either directly from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller, then is should be an original Apple product. Otherwise, especially if you got it as a "special deal," there is a chance that it could be a fake.
