How do I register my new Magic Keyboard for warranty?

Magic Keyboard

I recently purchased a new Magic Keyboard w/ touch & keypad to replace the one that came with my Mac which I purchased several years ago. The battery died (I believe prematurely) and as it can't be replaced I had to break out the $175 for the replacement thru Amazon so I could get it next day for no shipping charge.

I understand there is a 1 year Apple warranty but I do not see a way to register it to activate. How is this done?

iMac 24″, macOS 15.7

You don't need to activate it. It's automatically activated during purchase.

If it has an issue related to the manufacturing process, you can take it into an App Store and they can find its warranty status through its serial number and replace it ir required under warranty.
