Number count next to icons are gone.
The number counts for email, phone, $ message icons have disappeared. What’s going on. As to the previous response by the community, my notifications are not turned off .

Those are called badges and are under the notification setting. I feel like notification issues have been common with recent iOS versions, but you could also try checking your focus settings, your notification grouping, notification persistence, and screen time. Notifications being on is the first thing to check which you already did, so now you’re just checking a million other possibilities because of how things seem to be interconnected. I feel your pain, trust me.
