Authenticity of Apple AirPods Pro 2nd gen

I just bought a pair of AirPods Pro 2nd generation earbuds and I’m worried they are fakes. I checked the serial number on the coverage check website for Apple and it says that they are AirPods Pro’s, but it dosent say anything about 2nd generation. Also, the case plays sound, but will not play sound with the find my app. Also, I cannot find adaptive transparency mode on my phone, and the special audio head tracking dosent work. Are these real, or is it just because I have an iPhone 7 and can’t get IOS 16

Hello emmett238,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about your AirPods.

As long as they were purchased from an Apple Authorized Service Provider, Apple Authorized Distributor, or an Apple Store, you have nothing to worry about.

Also, yes, newer features need the newer iOS to show: If Active Noise Cancellation isn't working as expected on your AirPods Pro - Apple Support

"Make sure that you have the latest software on your connected iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac."

Thanks.
