Horizontal bubble line on MacBook Air
This was the best picture I have been able to take of it. It consists of, as you can see in the picture two rows of bubbles that traverse the whole horizontal plane of my MacBooks display. This is not the first occurrence of such a problem for me. I got my first MacBook in august of 2022. I had my first screen replacement for this issue in September of the same year. it came back a week later and had to have another replacement due to a faulty screen replacement resulting in backlight bleed. Fast forward to January of 2023 and things start happening quickly. On the 14th I take it in again because of this line and I get given my first whole unit replacement. Exactly two weeks later I have to go back to the same Apple Store because the line came back again and they gave me a second whole unit replacement. All is well until March when it comes back AGAIN. this time I am turned away from the Apple Store and told to seek a refund under UK consumer law (I am from England). I speak to apple support who tell me to go ahead with the replacement as there has to be a record of a repair attempted on this new unit because it was a replacement with no prior history. That is completed without issue. We now get to last week where once again the dreaded lines come back. This time I am again turned away from the Apple Store and told to see a refund. I am at a loss here as I have grown to love my Mac and all that it has offered me in the 9 months of ownership and would struggle to go back to windows but I am worried that if I were to get a refund and turn around and buy a new MacBook Air I would suffer from the same issue and be back where I started. If anyone is able to offer any advice it would be much appreciated.
