sometimes I have problems with the keyboard on my macbook, I write text but it only writes in capital letters even with capslook turned off

We understand that you're having an issue with the keyboard for your MacBook Air. Is it possible the caps lock key is stuck? If you haven't done so, you may want to try cleaning the keyboard to see if dust or debris is causing this issue to occur. You'll find recommended cleaning suggestions provided in the article below.

If cleaning it doesn't help, there are a couple other actions that may help to sort this out.
- Restart your MacBook - Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support
- Reset the NVRAM (a small amount of memory that your Mac uses to store and quickly access certain system settings) - Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
- Test to see if the issue persists in Safe mode (this process can help determine if the issue is software, hardware, or user account related)- How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
- After testing in safe mode, be sure to restart your Mac and test again after a normal startup.
