The problem is my watch is “outdated” to pair with my phone? but in order to update it , I need to pair the watch with my phone which is something I can’t do. The watch in question is the SE. I bought this a few days ago from an Authorized Apple Reseller. Anyone got an actual fix for this?
Often, when you purchase a new watch, it will need to be updated, but that typically happens as part of the pairing process automatically. Since I can't see where the pairing if failing, I'd recommend you call Apple for help. If you are in the US, call them at: 800-MY-APPLE and they can walk you through getting the watch paired.

I own the Iphone X, I’m on the IOS 16.5, the watch is completely brand new, we bought it a few days ago. I was able to pair my other watch which we bought along with the watch that can’t pair properly now.
