I managed to turn off Apple Cash as a payment source for payments on my Apple Card. I want to turn Apple Cash back on as a payment source and cannot figure out how to do it. The instructions on this site don't seem to match what I see on my screens. I'm on an iPhone 12 with iOS 16.5 with 128GB.

You need to add your >new account< to your Wallet. If your new account has a debit card attached/associated with it, you can add your debit card. When the debit card is added you can instantly transfer funds from your associated account to Apple Cash. Once Apple Cash account has funds you can use Apple Cash to pay your Apple Card balance/statement.

I added the new account last week and it is a debit card. It works fine. What’s not fine is that when I’m on the screen to make a payment on my Apple credit card I don’t see Apple Cash as an option. I only see the bank account. I used to see Apple Cash listed above my bank account and now it’s not there. I do not see Apple Cash listed as shown on the above screenshot. I only see the bank account.

Yes. It’s been there since I got the phone two years ago. The only thing I changed recently was my bank account information. My Apple Cash payment card in the Wallet shows a current balance of $2.79. Now if I want to make a payment on my Apple Card in Payment Methods only my bank account shows up. The Apple Cash does not and it was there the last time I made a payment on my account, but that payment was with my old bank account.

Thanks for your suggestions. You know how sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees? I just discovered what answer to my issue. I was trying to schedule a payment to see how it worked. The option to use Apple Cash doesn't show up unless you select Pay Now. When I chose Pay Now instead of scheduling the payment, I could see the Apple Cash option on the screen like in the screenshot above. Just goes to show that the answer could be right there in front of you.

Have a pleasant rest of the day and thanks for your input.

I'm glad, too. I usually use Pay Now and this was the first time I thought to try to schedule the payment since this is a holiday weekend. Makes perfect sense now.

Thank you again for your helpful suggestions. They are appreciated. My 70 year old brain doesn't catch on to things as quickly as it used to. I'm an old techie, too, but from the days of mainframe and other large systems.
