iTunes 12.8.3.1 connection issue with iOS16

I can not connect or sync my iOS16 device.


I followed the following advice:

Translation

Installation failed.

Downloading the software is not possible because of a network issue.


I contacted support and they basically told me you need to buy a new iMac. End of discussion.

Third party solution is working, but not preferable.


Any advice to connect or sync my iOS device with iTunes on macOS High Sierra?

I am also having the same problem. Tried everything that has been brought up on these discussions. Including reinstalling iTunes. Even contacted Apple and they couldn’t figure it out. Found NOTHING wrong with my WiFi settings. It appears this problem only affects when you have to download software from Apple, no problems anywhere else. Very frustrating.

I solved a connection problem with Windows 11 and the latest Itunes version. Connection was being reset and err -3523.


Go to Control Panel, search for internet options, click the advanced tab , scroll down to the TLS section. Only tick the boxes for TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3


Restart and reload and hopefully any problems solved.
