No connection Imac to Iphone

Today I can not connect My Imac 2010 OSX 10.10.6 Itunes to my Iphone SE. A new message tells me to upgrade to OSX 10.11.4, but when I check for softwareupdates, there are none available. What can I do?

You can update your iMac to OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.
