Text alerts

Maybe check if silent mode is on or off. It is a switch on the side of your phone. Make sure it is not red.

Disable Do Not Disturb:

1. Open: Control Center (Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen).
2. Tap: Focus
3. Tap: Do Not Disturb (so that it is greyed-out)

Set "Show Previews" to "Always":

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Notifications
3. Select: Stack (in "DISPLAY AS")
4. Tap: Show Previews
5. Tap: Always (so that it has a checkmark)
