IPad shuffle

So when I plug in my shuffle it blinks orange I checked the settings it's not enable disk use so I'm not sure what the problem is please help!

How do I restore my ipod shuffle gen 2? How do I restore my ipod shuffle gen 2? It keeps flashing orange and green three times each. When I connect it to my Macbook, it doesn't pop up in iTunes nor do I have any other screens in my finder besdies where you import music to. When plugged into the mac it flashes orange.
