Recently my iMac Pro has taken a long time to respond to printing. It takes a minute to load the print dialog, then another minute if I change the paper size, and again if I print to PDF.
My MacBook Pro (on the same desk) responds instantly.
The printer is also on the desk, but I'm using AirPrint. It is a Brother MFC laser.
What might be slowing down my iMac Pro, and how can I speed things up again?

Hello Shannon, and thank you for replying swiftly to my question. I have read through the steps in Solve printing problems on Mac – Apple Support (AU), although the problem is not that I can't print from the iMac Pro. There is no problem printing (eventually). It used to be instant, but now each small step in the process takes up to a minute to respond (Press Print, Select Paper, Print to PDF).
So, even if I print to PDF it takes 2-3 minutes each time. This wasn't a problem a few months ago.
I have my MacBook Pro beside it, and that responds instantly on each step. So I feel something is slowing up my iMac Pro, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot that.
If you have any further advice, I would be most grateful.
