Fake virus alerts from McAffee

Since yesterday i kept getting these fake virus alerts on the “setting” app on my mac. They are fake because i was told that it was a scam making me try to download McAffee. But i keep getting these fake alerts on my “settings” app. how do i prevent it? I wish i knew how to snap a picture of it and put it on this board to show you 🤷

Two things you can try.

In Safari turn off notifications for the scam website.

Try a safe boot to clear any startup third party apps.
