Great Smart Folders aren't Duplicates, just pointers/aliases to where the files are.
Open a second window of where you want to move these files, then drag as many as you want to where you want, the Smart Folder will still show them, but the alias now point to the new location.

You can Open or Delete right from the Smart folder, toSave, Open it then Save it where you want, but it hasn't move at all Smart Folders are simply points to files elsewhere that meet the criteria you've chosen. :)
I am planning to use smart folders to consolidate my files. I have a new mini and the files are scattered all over an 11 year old MacBook Pro, a 12 year old iMac, and a 11 year old mini. Not to mention iCloud. I thought I could use smart folders to find the files, eliminate the duplicates, then store them all on an external drive. After deleting the ones no longer needed and organizing the rest, I could then set up mine in one user account, my wife’s in her account, and shared files somewhere? Does that sound like a good approach or is there a better way?
