If you search for the app on your iPhone see an icon similar to my profile image here, you have an app stuck between installed and uninstalled.
Only way to resolve that is with a backup, factory reset, and restore.
Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support (includes links to backup and restore)

Try this: Use App Library to search the app you are looking for, see -> Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone -> Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone - Apple Support

hey, is there any other method because i just looked at the help for restoring to factory settings but i don’t have a mac available to do that and i don’t wanna have to resort to deleting all my data off my phone
As for the reset, the only way I’ve performed that is with a computer. Supposedly, current versions can erase locally. I’ve not tried an iCloud restore to a reset device, and am uncomfortable recommending that path.
Alternatively… If you do not have and cannot borrow a Mac or Windows PC, contact Apple Support, and bring it in to the local Apple Store or Apple authorized repair provider.
PS: The only way to mark data as being valuable is with backups.
