I am trying to transfer Ticketmaster tickets to Apple Wallet

Correct and there hasn’t been for several years. The security had to tighten because of scalpers and other security issues. The tickets are added via the Ticketmaster website, mobile app or links/QR code in a text or email from Ticketmaster.

I recently bought tickets for an event this coming January 2025. After numerous failed attempts to transfer the ticket to Apple wallet I finally found a screen saying they will be ready late December and i will be notified by email. I do not have the bar code on my receipt….just the other details. I assume this is in case there is a cancellation.

Have you contacted Ticketmaster support? You may be able to transfer the tickets using their website. When using the website, some browser may display the site differently than others. If Safari doesn’t work try Chrome and see if it works.

The online instructions MAY INDICATE there is an add to apple wallet button, but there clearly is not. I am having teh same issue. I have the most up to date version of both applications on my phone -I followed ticketmasters directions step by step, and there is NO ADD To apple wallet feature qhwn you view your tickets following there instructions -This is clearly an issue with ticketmasters app

Are you using Safari or Chrome for a web browser?

Ticketmaster controls adding their tickets to Apple Wallet. The tickets are stored in the Secure Element and Apple has very little to do with the adding of tickets or transferring to another Wallet.

I couldn't add the ticket from the browser window, which opened up after following link enclosed in the email. Usually the browser window that opens will have an "open in Ticketmaster app" option at the top and/or the "Add to Apple Wallet" will pop up after choosing "open ticket" link. Not this time, it just opened a regular browser window without either option. Started researching and found your solution. Thank you for sharing!

I have an iPad mini, not an iPhone . I tried turning the iPad sideways, and nothing changes. I see my ticket, with the barcode and scan thing moving back and forth . But no “view barcode” button, no Apple Wallet button . I see nothing that allows me to transfer the ticket to Apple Wallet

I'm having the exact same experience, and I have been successfully adding tix from Ticketmaster into Apple Wallet for the past 5 years. But over the past few weeks, I have had a few ticketed events that I can't get the "Add to Apple Wallet" button to show up on my mobile app. I've been attempting from both my MLS team's app, which uses Ticketmaster, and through the Ticketmaster app, and neither is providing the Apple Wallet button.

This doesn't work for me. I've seen some people say they were able to download it when they clicked a "view barcode" button. But that doesn't exist on my iphone. It's very frustrating. There is literally no option for me to download the ticket to my Apple Wallet.

This is wild what a mess this is.

When I click on my event tickets on the site (on TM's site on a browser on my iPhone), a pop up appears saying "Add to Apple Wallet and beat slow WiFi on the big day". Then there is no button to add to the Apple Wallet. I've turned my phone in both orientations, and nothing. Just the scanning barcode thing going back and forth, with no way to add it to Apple Wallet.

The fact that such a simple and straightforward issue can't get resolved considering the resources these huge companies have is just mind blowing to me.

Then I try to do it on the TM app, and there's an error code popping up each time I try to log (not an incorrect password or anything, literally some weird error code "on their end").

TM is the absolute worst.
