Hi everyone, please help :-)
the battery of my Iphone 8 was empty and it switched itself off. When i turned it on again it went into installation mode (like installation of a new phone) when I reached the step to sign in to iCloud with my apple ID it says "Could not communicate with the server". Anyone knows what to do here? can't use my phone anymore.

Try this:
If you're using iOS or iPadOS 15 or later, tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If you're using iOS or iPadOS 14 or earlier, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

For people having trouble with iphones thot “can’t connect to the server” the culprit in my case was the advanced settings in Safari. I turned them all off and my problem was solved. To do so, I went to settings, then Safari, then “advanced”and then to “Experimental Features”. I turned them all off and the problem went away!! SHAME ON Apple FOR LARDING OUR IPHONES UP WITH 173 FEATURES IN THIS CATEGORY. The standard setting enables about 90 of these and each and every one of these features taxes the **** out of the iphone and plays havoc with trying to connect to the server!!
