After I removed the apps from my IPhone it is still in my library. I removed a scanner app @ I am still getting updates on it also. How do I completely get these apps off of my phone to keep from using additional storage?

No, it’s a scanner app. Thanks for trying to help me. I’m just trying to free up more space. This is getting annoying because it isn’t a simple task to completely remove apps. You walk in a Apple Store & no one there wants to help. They ask that it be done online. ?? Thx
If it were me, and Lawrence Finch’s suggestion didn’t work, and assuming your iPhone is not managed by a school or employer, then yes, I would try adding it back to the Home Screen and deleting it from there.
If you have Screen Time enabled, go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/iTunes & App Store Purchases and change Deleting Apps to Allow.
Then try deleting the app again.

this is the options I get when holding down the app while it’s shaking. Maybe I have to put it back on my Home Screen to go through the process again?
Tap Edit Home Screen.
Then you'll have the option to delete the app. You can also delete it directly from the App Library.
Thanks so much!! Now how do I get the ones that I already removed from the screen out of my library. They are still showing in my library.
Press and hold the app in the library. Then choose “Delete App”.
Some apps (for example, Apple’s Phone app) cannot be removed. Might you be attempting to remove such an app?
