Ventura / InDesign 2023: glyphs/symbols show up as rectangles with X not symbols.

Ventura / InDesign 2023: emojis & symbols on keyboard option show up as rectangles with X not symbols. Any ideas what's going on ? Screenshot attached. Guess I just need to find the font in wingdings or zapf...

So Now I'd like to delete this question to the community, but I don't see that option. Sorry.

Thanks, Tom…as soon as I posted the question I found what I was looking for amongst fonts and glyphs in inDesign but didn’t see a way to delete my question in the forum. Again, thanks for the reference nonetheless; with the upgrade to Ventura I may find their forum helpful.
