drop down menu in fcp blocks my view

when I want to change fonts, the drop down menu in the inspector blocks half of my monitor with the fonts I can choose from so I can't see the changes live. Does anyone has a solution for this?

Best regards,

Ouch…

Two suggestions: first check if in all of these there is some font with a very long name, as this would cause this, probably.

Second, as always when FCP is not behaving as expected, try deleting preferences. To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting the application and click Delete Custom Settings. The application will start with default settings and open an “Untitled” library. Adjust the settings, reopen the library you were working, and see how it works now.
