Display Fonts Too Large on LG 50" TV Monitor

Where are the font size icons (5 of them from small to large) in the system display settings? Since getting they new Pro 2 and plugging my LG 50" into it I can't see any way of reducing the very large fonts it displays on my monitor (and desktop icons). I can't see how to EASILY minimise the fonts size?

Thanks, not sure why this has happened but with the monitor plugged in two days ago of the first time there were no Larger / Smaller Text icons.

Went to Displays in Settings again today -- without the monitor plugged in -- and the 5 text size option icons are displayed.

Os I just plugged in the TV to the Mac and they disappeared temporarily from Display settings and then reappeared? How come I can see them now without needing the option key? I have a brandnew MacBook Pro.

Cheers.

When you use [√] Mirror displays, BOTH displays are set to a computed 'compromise' resolution that your Mac thinks BOTH displays can attain. Then BOTH are run with ONE display-generator, in perfect sync.

You must uncouple your two displays from the Compromise resolution by turning off Mirroring. Then each display can have its settings changed independently.
