Incompatibility between Xfinity email and connecting to my iPhone Pro 14

For weeks I've been having issues with Xfinity. One of my remaining issues is adding my Xfinity email to my iPhone 14 Pro. Every time I try I get messages that my username or password are incorrect. They are correct and I still can't connect...I've verified multiple times I've gone so far as changing my 5GHz to 2.4GHz and still cannot get it to connect. A few weeks ago, I got it, however, was still a day behind in getting my email. Stupid me listened to the Xfinity rep who told me to delete it and re-add it. After hesitating and sharing my concern about getting it back, I should have listened to myself because of course now I can't seem to get it back. I've even tried adding it via Outlook and Microsoft Exchange to no avail.


Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I am beyond frustrated after multiple phone calls to Xfinity (approximately 20 since 04/12) and one to Apple in which I was cut off while they were trying to assist me.


Thank you in advance for your time. My fingers are crossed that someone will know how to get this to work.

Who is the seller? Did you purchase this from Xfinity? Or Apple?


Contact Apple Store Support:

Having troubleshot this with Xfinity so much, try doing so, by contacting Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix. Perform a screensharing session with the Apple Rep, so they can see this firsthand, form YOUR perspective.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

I called Apple Support and the one thing she had me do was delete the "mail" app on my phone and re-download it from the app store. I also changed my password one more time, which I had done multiple times already.


With those two tasks, I was finally able to get my email to load onto my phone.
