Vst plugins aren't scanning
I've been using Logic for a few years now and the plugins I installed over time always worked perfectly. I recently had problems opening Final Cut because of the audio units authorization process (something that had to do with my Antares subscription I believe, but not important here) so I decided to move the audio plugins I had installed (components, VST, VST3) to a folder until I could open Final Cut and then put them back in place in the usual spot : Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plugins when I was finished. But now when I open Logic only the .au (components) plugins get scanned and verified (at least they work), but I also have VST plugins installed for which I don't have the .au version and I would like to use them. Did I do something wrong? I rescanned the plugins from the Plugin Manager, deleted the cache files for the authorization, restarted my Mac, tried placing and replacing the files in the corresponding folders and so on but nothing works. Would appreciate if anybody knew a way around this!
