scanning audio unit on logic pro block

hi since I upgraded to mac os ventura logic pro always tries to install new plugins but it freezes and does not go further so I have to do abort installation and go ahead. whenever I start logic pro it always does the same thing..

another question: in the plugins (components - vst and vst 2 vst 3) there are no files. I do not see them and as if they were hidden.

Consistent Missing File Error When Reopening Projects in Logic Pro Has anyone else run into this? Every time I open an existing saved project, Logic gives me this message: “The audio file ‘(name)’ was not found in its expected location.” I always check the “Copy audio files into project” box when saving, and the files are definitely in the right folder. This only started happening over the past week. As you can see in the screenshot I attached the files are right there in the exact folder Logic is looking in, but for some reason it still can’t find them. I’ve tried using the “Search on all mounted volumes” option but that usually pulls in the wrong versions from other projects with similar file names. The only workaround I’ve found is manually locating and relinking each file which is super time-consuming when dealing with 100+ audio files. I’m on macOS 15.4.1 and Logic Pro 11.1.2. Apple Support wasn’t able to help, so they suggested I post here. If anyone’s experienced this or has a fix, I’d really appreciate the help.

LOGIC PRO: TAKE FOLDER / Cannot change the gain on an audio clip? Hello everyone! First time here, please apologize my english, it's my second language. I really need help here. I'm at the end of several projects and I've been experiencing these bugs since I have my new Mac Mini M2. I think my first mistake was to migrate from Mac Mini Intel 2020 to my new Mac Mini M2 Pro. I updated all the plugins afterwards, but it seems that that didn't fix everything. The majority of my sessions were recorded and premixed on my Mac Mini Intel (without problems). Note that I have almost the same setup on my 3nd computer (Macbook Pro 2020, Intel Core i7), same OS and same version of Logic Pro (Ventura 13.6.4, Logic 10.8.1) and that I have NONE of its problems. Bug #1; TAKE FOLDER / Change the gain on an audio clip; the option to change the gain in the inspector window at the top left is no longer available? I instead get a "-" in place of "gain", when I select an audio clip inside a Take Folder. Bug #2; TAKE FOLDER, delete audios. If I try to delete a single “take” or a single “audio clip” by selecting it, the entire Take folder is deleted. I also have several other problems ; -RECORDING NEW AUDIO, audio is sometimes out of sync (ahead of the rest of the session). -UAD Satellite w/ USB-C port. I have 2 OCTO Satellite cards. I updated the UAD software. It happens that one of my cards disconnects randomly (red light on the front panel). This never happened with my previous computers -RESTORE AUDIO UNIT. I regularly get this error message “An audio unit module has reported a problem that could cause system instability. Please exit and relaunch Logic Pro. I have plenty of screenshots to demonstrate the various bugs. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks! Many thanks!

Vst plugins aren't scanning I've been using Logic for a few years now and the plugins I installed over time always worked perfectly. I recently had problems opening Final Cut because of the audio units authorization process (something that had to do with my Antares subscription I believe, but not important here) so I decided to move the audio plugins I had installed (components, VST, VST3) to a folder until I could open Final Cut and then put them back in place in the usual spot : Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plugins when I was finished. But now when I open Logic only the .au (components) plugins get scanned and verified (at least they work), but I also have VST plugins installed for which I don't have the .au version and I would like to use them. Did I do something wrong? I rescanned the plugins from the Plugin Manager, deleted the cache files for the authorization, restarted my Mac, tried placing and replacing the files in the corresponding folders and so on but nothing works. Would appreciate if anybody knew a way around this!

Logic is not capable of installing new plugins, only the User is. Logic tries to validate newly installed plugins. Give Logic a little time. If there is no progress after (say) 15-30 minutes, you need to check if you have incompatible AU plugins on your computer, depending on what your MacOS was before the update.

AU-Plugins can be found on two locations:

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

and

~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

The first Location is the main location for all users.
