Hi, thanks for any help. My screen has a region that works strange, like I can't type "i" in a message, and the six is tricky to push in a passcode. The face ID stopped working the same day this began. Have tried a reset. any ideas on how to fix this? I'm back using my old SE, as its super awkward to use a phone that part of the screen doesn't respond properly.

Possibly a hardware fault. Sometimes there can be a dislodged connector, but it could be something more serious. I'd recommend sending it to an Apple Store (preferably) for a diagnostic.
