No play button in Apple TV app

Apple is experiencing an outage.

this is unbelivable that google is linking to similar post on this site written 4 years ago and Apple didn't do anything with this issue, just informs to log out/log in, switch to another account or try on apple tv+.... ffs

Looks like issue on Apple side. This app stopped working on my iPad, I thought it was a issue with iPad but checked my iPhone and I had the same result: content not loading. It seems to be coming back slowly, I can see the TV series and movies, but some of the episodes won’t play, same issue as yours - no play button. I believe everything will be fine in few minutes or few hours time.

So I got the play button to come back however I cannot press it and have it function. I see it moving as I press on it however it does nothing. Prior to this my airplay stopped working and gave me a red circle with a line thru it and would not play anything I trying to send to the Apple TV. Anyone know or have a solution to this? I have to think I caused this as I was pressing buttons when it stated that it was saving the stacked option. So if anyone know the interactive buttons that I can press to command the TVOS 27 that would be great. Either the phone controller, device controller, or the xbox controller. I have them all. Please let me know I have heard you can do more with the Xbox remote. I’m a noob when it comes to OSS and phone on the back end of things so please bare with me here

Same issue for me, however I seem to be able to play the pilot episode for every show...just nothing after the first
