cant run any appletv series beyond pilot

I cannot play any episode on AppleTV+ beyond pilot. All episodes come up with the option “Next” where Play is.

Your inability to play any episode beyond the pilot on Apple TV+ could be due to several reasons. Let's troubleshoot the issue step by step:

1. Subscription Status: Check your subscription status first. If you're on a free trial, ensure that it has not expired. If you have a paid subscription, make sure the payment went through and the subscription is still active.

2. Device Compatibility: Make sure that your device is compatible with Apple TV+. It's also a good idea to check if your device's operating system is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, compatibility issues can cause problems like these.

3. Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is required for streaming. Check your internet connection and if possible, try resetting your router/modem or connecting to a different network to see if it resolves the issue.

4. App Update: If you're using an app to access Apple TV+, make sure it's updated to the latest version. Developers often release updates to fix bugs and improve performance.

5. Sign Out and Sign In Again: Sometimes, signing out of your account and signing back in can fix issues. This process can refresh your account and resolve minor glitches.

If none of these solutions work, your best bet is to reach out to Apple's customer support. They can check the status of your account, check for any known issues, and guide you through more detailed troubleshooting steps. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.

Remember, you need an active Apple TV+ subscription to watch episodes beyond the free ones. Some shows might only make the first episode or few episodes available for free, but require a subscription to watch the rest.

Hi,

Thank you for replying. There was no mistake. Suddenly I could not see episode 4 of a series (after viewing episode 3). The same applied to all series in AppleTV+. I tried to log out, restart and update the AppleTV unit. To no avail. I tried to start episodes on my iPhone with the same result. Clearly some malfunction on Apples side but there is no "downtime" reporting for AppleTV+. This morning it all works again, so problem is "solved".
