I'm using Screen time to manage my kids iPhone. I have restricted him from changing mobile data settings. Swiping down on the Home Screen, I see that the Mobile data button is diabled. I do however notice that he is fully capable of switching off Mobile data using Settings on his iPhone. How do I disable this?

As far as I know, there isn't a built-in way to prevent changes to mobile data settings directly on an iPhone. Screen Time primarily restricts app usage and content, but it doesn't delve too deeply into system settings like mobile data.
However, you could try a workaround by setting up a password for 'Settings' so that changes can't be made without your approval. If your main concern is data usage, you might also consider talking with your service provider to see if they offer any parental controls or data caps.
Thank you so much for your reply. My main concern is the kid turning off mobile data to save it forlater YouTube watchin or what-ever. I, on the other hand, need his mobile data to make sure "find my iPhone" works and send him reminders etc. I also notice it is not possible to restrict access to "Settings" on his iPhone. On solution could of course be to get him an unlimited dataplan. That way he would have no incentive to save data. Unfortunately that is to expencive.
