Beats Fit Pro Microphone and background noise

Does anyone know how to fix the issue where the background noise picked up by the beats fit pro is overwhelming loud for the person on the phone with you? I have had people hang up when I am on a call with them and have my Beats fit pros in my ear and I’m running water in the sink or crinkling a wrapper and throwing it away. They have said it is overwhelming louder than my voice.

If the microphone audio on your headphones is not working properly, you can try resetting them.


1. Place both earbuds in the charging case. Leave the case open.
2. Press and hold the system button on the case for 15 seconds or until the LED indicator light flashes red and white.
3. Release the system button.
The LED indicator light will continue to flash white, which means that you can pair your Beats Fit Pro with your iPhone, Mac, Android device, or other device again.

Reset your Beats Fit Pro


If the microphone audio is still not working properly after that, you'll want to contact Apple for assistance: Get Support
