iPhone 13 mini connectivity with wifi issues + other

Recently I bought an iPhone 13 mini to upgrade from my iPhone SE 2. It got delivered 2 days ago and it's brand new, but I have already had a few small issues and I'm wondering what to do with it.. I've read others have the same issues aswell but I'm not sure if mine is faulty or if it is just a common issue you get with this type of phone and if I should just take it back and swap for another type of phone.

Here are my issues so far:

these may just be small things that happen on any new phone regarding startup/setup, but my phone was a bit laggy, apps werent responding fast, they were closing etc no big deal it didn't bother me much. the main thing that gets me though is internet connection issues....... I have never had a problem with my devices connecting to my wifi but my phone kept disconnecting reconnecting etc it was quite annoying, I read and others have this issue and say you can fix it temporarily with rebooting the device and router but it always comes back, even worse apparently this happens with blue tooth aswell, I haven't experienced it yet but this I am worried about. So now I am thinking should I just trade in or refund and get a different model of phone? It is too early to get these issues I feel and its a little disheartening as I have never had a proper brand new latest flashy phone until now.

Connecting to Wi-Fi is the initial step, followed by establishing an internet connection.

However, it's important to note that connecting to Wi-Fi does not automatically guarantee an internet connection. In the event that you are unable to connect to Wi-Fi, the issue may stem from settings on your iPhone or the router/modem.

On the other hand, if you are unable to establish an internet connection despite being connected to Wi-Fi, the problem is likely related to the settings on your router/modem. In such cases, it is advisable to promptly contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.

For your Internet connection.

  • Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency that issued the SIM to you
  • Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency that provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you
