Apple car play & waze

Different route used to appear on my car screen on Apple play when using Waze. Now all of a sudden the optional routes are not showing up on the car screen. And if your iPhone is plugged in, I now get a message, saying routes are only available on the car screen. Help!

The system comes up and shows a default map, with no route, but the speakers are telling me directions. It just doesn't show on the screen at all. Does any one have faced this issue?Can some one suggest any solution for it? I tried reconnecting apple car play but nothing has helped so far.

iOS 17.3 CarPlay no longer shows route details Since taking the latest iOS upgrade my Apple Maps is unusable for a long drive. Within London it’s fine but my 50 mile drive from Oxfordshire to London only shows a small squiggly line on the whole of the south east of the UK - CarPlay can read me directions but I cannot glance at where I’m supposed to be going. I tried shutting down the app, ending the route, restarting, unplugging the iPhone and plugging back in - still doesn’t work. Drove home using waze 😠

That appears to be an issue with Waze. You will probably get better answers by contacting 👉 Waze - Support
