Put an email that isn't supported for apple ID when setting up ipad

I just got a knew iPad today and I was setting it it up but put the wrong ending of the email address. I was doing school work earlier so instead of putting .com as the ending I put .org and now it says it's the email address is locked because I kept trying to put in my password but it was wrong because that account doesn't actually exist. It stuck loading now and I don't know to do. Really embarrassed since I just got it and already messed it up. Also thinking about going back to the store to see if they can do anything about it but before I tell someone I wanna see if I can fix it myself. Pls help if you can thank you (I have a iPad 10th generation btw)
