I just got a new Iphone and I set everything up and transferred my data but the new phone is not getting any notifications whatsoever. All the notifications are going to my old phone even tho i tried deleting some apps maybe it would help but it didn’t. I have all notifications turned on but the new phone still isn’t getting any.
iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16
Old phone.
Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage
Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time
Restart the phone.
Make sure you don't leave the same number SIM or eSIM in the old phone
New phone
Insert SIM or activate eSIM
Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage
Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time
Restart the phone.
Settings, Messages, Turn on iMessage, SMS, MMS
Settings, Messages, send & Receive, Start new conversations from, select your Apple ID which should now be there.
Settings, Face Time, Turn on Face Time
Old phone.
Settings, Messages, Turn off iMessage
Settings, Face Time, Turn off Face Time
Restart the phone.
