AirPods Pro 2 find my problem

I have my AirPods pro 2 since January and they work perfectly but since this month I have been experiencing some problems like the AirPod disconnecting from my phone but the thing that brought me here is that today I notice that my AirPod were showing in my school even when I had them with me it say that last time it was seen was on May 18 even when I open the AirPod and put them on me they won’t change the location to my house, I try resetting them, turning off find my and they didn’t work. I hope some one can answer this question.

Hi Randomüser,

Resetting AirPods is a great step, but it's important to ensure that it is completed properly for it to be effective. How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro outlines the specific process to use for resetting AirPods.

Regarding location information, Turn on the Find My network covers how to enable Find My and also offers this note for AirPods Pro (2nd generation):

"If you have AirPods Pro (2nd generation), you need iOS 16, iPadOS 16.1, macOS Ventura, or later to use the Find My network."

Make sure your device is up-to-date and that you have not disabled location-based services on your iPhone. Should the location continue to not update, reach out to Apple Support to investigate this further.

Regards.
