Battery

I bought my iPhone a few months ago and my battery has started draining way quicker than usual. My battery health is 99% but still it drains real quick and overheats.

If you are experiencing unusually rapid battery drain and overheating issues with your iPhone 13, despite having a battery health of 99%, there are a few potential factors to consider:

1. Software-related issues: Sometimes, certain apps or software processes can consume excessive power or cause your device to overheat. Ensure that your iPhone’s operating system and all apps are up to date. You can also try closing background apps, restarting your device, or performing a soft reset to see if it resolves the problem.

2. Settings and usage patterns: Certain settings like screen brightness, push email, background app refresh, and location services can impact battery life. Consider adjusting these settings and monitoring your usage patterns to see if it improves battery performance.

3. Faulty battery or hardware: Although your battery health is reported as 99%, there is still a possibility of a faulty battery or hardware issue. If the problem persists, it may be worth contacting Apple Support or visiting an authorized service center to have your device examined.
