I have my WiFi router on the first floor and a WiFi extender in the ground floor.
When I am moving my Mac from the ground floor to the first floor, my M1 MAC Air doesn't switch automatically from the extender WiFi to actual router WiFi(Which will obviously have a stronger signal).
I can't believe this is a problem in 2023. Is there a way to solve this?
My Android phone does this flawlessly. :|

That would require the Mac to be constantly scanning for WiFi access points and comparing the signal strengths. That is a battery sucking activity.
The solution is to get a Mesh WiFi router that includes logic that forces the channel switch. The Mesh routers are plugged into the wall, so power is not an issue, and each Mesh unit talks to all the other units, so they can see the strength of the signal being received from the Mac, and if a given Mesh unit is seeing a much stronger signal, they can force the channel switch.
