my iPhone 6 - finger print ID doesn’t work . When I go to settings the option for setting up finger print ID is no longer there, the option is password only as seen in screen shot can anyone advise please

The "Touch ID & Passcode" option should be in Settings (between Siri&Search and Emergency SOS).

The option is called "Touch ID & Passcode".
If you don't see it among your Settings options, you may have resctrictions enabled in your ScreenTime. Specifically, check:--> Settings>ScreenTime>Content&Privacy Restrictions>Passcode Changes ... it should be set to "Allow".
When done, restart your iPhone.
