My new AirPods (3rd generation) have low sound distortion/garbling on Zoom calls, movies, etc.
It's like being under water.
What causes this? Can it be fixed?

2) Full reset: Reset your AirPods
3) Service: AirPods Service and Repair

Thank you for the reply. 1 and 3 do not apply as these are brand new. Tried 2 and no change.
Tried different zoom meetings with different people. For the most part the audio is ok, but there is also this recurrent low background distortion of the persons voice. Is this normal for Airpods? Too much sound processing? It never occurred with my regular wired Apple earphones (only clear sound).
Pretty convinced now this is a ZOOM + AirPods problem. Anyone else have Airpod issues on Zoom meetings?
