Wakeup procedure (inadvertently) changed

The process for waking up my MacbookPro (2019, 13.2) after flipping screen down has recently changed. It used to need only touching any key or clicking trackpad to bring it back to life. Now the only thing that works is to click the power button. Is this something I accidentally changed and, if so, how do I change it back?
